Hi everyone! For those that don’t know, and those that do I wanted to share my mom’s story. In August of this year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been through procedures to remove the damaged tissue and lymph nodes. We thought that was the end, but have received the devastating news that it has spread. Due to the spread she will be needing a full mastectomy. Following the mastectomy she will require chemotherapy and possibly radiation. These surgeries and treatments will require her to be away from home and in Edmonton for however long it’s takes for her to kick this! My mother is a full time caregiver to my sister who has special needs so that also plays into factor while she is away. I know it might not be in everyone’s budget but, even a share can go a long way. Thank you for letting me share this with you and thank you for the support during this rough time in our family.
