Time For A New Camera

What’s up everyone?!

I fought with plenty of people about starting one of these because this is a “me” problem, not necessarily a “y’all” problem. I know them though, they were going to make one for me whether I wanted them to or not.

Anyways, Zora (my camera) has officially reached the end of life. She ran her course and I’m without a camera for an unforeseeable amount of time. I called three different repair companies and they all say it’s going to be between $1500-$2000 to repair my sensor, shutter, and shutter curtains. YAYYYY! -_- So for that price point, figured I might as well get a new camera.

I’ll be renting a camera for clients I’ve already have scheduled but the heartbreaking moment for me is my yearbook for the 757, I can’t continue that journey without a camera. I have more pop up and shoot dates, events to attend, and I won’t be able to just rent cause rentals cost $95-$110 a day unless it’s a weekend.

So I’m not even sure what I’m asking besides just something to get me closer to being able to achieve my goal of giving the black creatives and business owners a light that they haven’t had shined on them yet and the way I know how to do that is through art, my photography.
