Hello, my name is Luc.

I am a coach. But currently I am unable to coach others.

As a kid growing up I struggled to find a goal that made me happy. Something that drove me to be the best I could be.

I had always wanted to help people and I wanted to continue doing this.

During covid however I realized I had stopped doing the thing that helped me feel good about myself.

I had been a coach for a local track and field club, and I had started missing that feeling of helping others improve towards their goals. So I picked up coaching remotely in a game online called Rocket League.

This turned out to be the outlet I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed working at this and was even able to make this a full time pursuit! Over the last few years I had various successes internationally.

Despite all the successes I however struggled with several big hurdles ad never was able to make it a sustainable job.

The first large hurdle was breaking my jaw. I was insured to repair to the point of my jaw being functional. This however left me with a lot of recurring pain problems and a lot of insecurity about looks. I didn't have the money to have it repaired and I still (over 4 years later) haven't been able to fix it. Part of the money will go here. so I can get implants and crowns instead of dealing with the pain.

The second large hurdle presented itself a few months back.

I have been blessed to be able to get a really good PC that allows me to do the work I do.

This PC however started having issues; from blue screening to small crashes and earlier this week a full shutdown. I cannot get the PC to start anymore. I have tried everything from software fixes and drivers check to full windows resets. But also testing individual hardware components. I am tired and not sure what to do or who to ask so I need an expert to help me fix this. This is where the support would go. To help me fix my PC.

I have felt like my dream came crumbling down. The years I invested into this project had been for nothing.

A friend had taken the time to talk about options:

A) I could just start working another job on the side to make some more money. But with no PC or anything to keep momentum it would mean a HARD reset on all the things I had worked for.

B) I could ask for help. The very thing I am traditionally very bad at. For years I had been against asking for help. Since I am afraid I'll never be able to repay it all.

The conversation stopped there but my thoughts kept me between those options for some time.

But I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I want to continue fighting to become a great coach. I want to continue to learn about helping others achieve their goals.

Part of the proceedings of this GoFundMe will go towards me being able to close the chapter for the issues related to my jaw.

The other part will be to fix my PC and allow me to continue working for my dream of helping people reach their goals!

Anything over the goal will be spend on giving back. From giving coaching to community events!

All I want is to continue helping people.
