For help with ongoing medical costs & bills

Hi, I’m Natalie and I have been unfortunate enough to have been caught up in the Youth Crime epidemic that has been so widely experienced throughout Queensland.

I was unfortunately involved in the accident which killed Matt, Kate and baby Miles on Finucan Road in Alexandra Hills almost 3 years ago.

I was hit head on by the stolen car that was in that accident and have some fairly significant injuries to my head, neck and back because of it. I recently underwent my 4th surgery on my back in 18 months to try and minimise my pain and bring me back to some kind of normal. Thankfully the last procedure showed promising results and I am scheduled for another surgery on 22 January to implant a nerve stimulator device into my thoracic and lumbar spine permanently. This will hopefully help with my crippling post traumatic migraine, neck and back pain and ability to stand, walk and bear weight.

Unfortunately because of the number of surgeries, medical appointments and recovery periods I have had in the last 3 years I have no leave or leave entitlements left at work. I didn’t want to have to ask for help but with an extended unpaid leave period coming up I didn’t know where else to turn.

This is why I have created this go fund me. To help me pay my bills for the minimum 6 weeks that I’ll be off work and expected 3 month recovery period to help me recover without too much added financial stress, start physio and rehabilitate my body.

If you are able to spare a few dollars, or share this in the hopes that someone who may be able to assist sees it and can assist or raise further awareness; myself and my family will be extremely grateful.
