Help support GNGLL's Intervale Fields Project
Attention: Maine Thunder Softball Alumni Families:
As the great game of softball has brought us together at some point in life, Hope this message finds you well during these crazy times we are living in. I’m reaching out for help to help bridge the gap of future softball players in Maine being able to have an amazing outside facility to work on their skills at in a professional teaching environment.
As you know, I’m run Maine Thunder travel softball program (we have 21 teams of players from 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u age groups) and looking for help in resurrecting an “old little league softball field” in New Gloucester, Maine (located at 500 Intervale Rd in New Gloucester).
During the height of 2020 Covid 19 restricted season, we played over 100 games & 40 practices there from June 1 thru the end of October timeframe. This was only possible because of the extremely hard work of 2-3 individual people that spent countless volunteer hours making this single field somewhat playable to allow our organization playing time on the field during a pandemic.
Please help make a donation to the future opportunities Thunder may have there.
All funds will be allocated to this field project as we are looking to add another field, create ample parking for spectators and enhance the playing surface for fun & safe play. Every penny is allocated to this facility project. Nothing else.

We do have aspirations of adding another field to this site that will double our player development activity and these donations are a key ingredient for this next step.
