Help Me Bring My Rescue Dog to the UK — He’s My Family
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Chelsea, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.
I am a graduate student who recently learned I must move to the UK. This was decision that was sudden and unavoidable. Amid all the uncertainty, my biggest worry is my best friend: Dax.
He’s been through more than any dog ever should. Passed between multiple homes, he has faced abuse, abandonment, and heartbreak. It’s taken years of love and patience for him to finally trust again, to finally feel safe. He has intense attachment issues from his past, but together, we’ve built a bond that is unbreakable. I am his safe place now, and he is mine.
Leaving him behind is not an option. He is family.
But the cost to bring him overseas between flights & vet paperwork is incredibly high, and as a full-time student, I simply cannot afford it alone. Every dollar raised will go directly toward getting him safely to the UK, where he can continue to live the happy, secure life he deserves.
This move wasn’t part of our plan, but life sometimes pulls us in directions we can’t control. Please, if you’re able to help, even a small donation would mean the world to both of us. If you can’t donate, sharing this with others would be just as appreciated.
Thank you for reading our story and for helping keep us together. He’s not just a dog he’s my heart, my family, and he deserves a future full of love.
