Hi, my name is Raushan Sandhu and I am an amateur MMA fighter from Leeds. My record is 8 wins, 1 loss and I am currently the Number 1 ranked fighter in my weight class in the UK & Ireland. I am a 3 times British Champion and I've been selected to represent England at this years IMMAF European Championship in Belgrade, Serbia.

This competition is entirely self funded as England currently do not fund their athletes for MMA. The compulsory costs total to around £1,250.

This is extremely important to me because MMA is my entire career. I could not see another job making me happy in life. 2 years ago I completely stopped working in pursuit of becoming a full time fighter. Since then, I have picked up jobs around the gym such as teaching kids classes, adults classes and also offering 1 to 1 private sessions to be able to earn an income that supports my training. I just want the chance to compete against the best fighters in Europe and not only prove that I belong there but also prove that I am going to the very top of the sport. Not to anybody else, but just to myself.
