Hi, my name is Mihaela and I was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer in June 2025.

As part of this journey, my doctors recommended an advanced genetic test that could reveal potential mutations in my tumour. These mutations may open the door to targeted therapies that are better suited to my cancer type and could significantly increase my chances of being cured.

Unfortunately, this kind of testing is not covered by public healthcare in Romania. The cost can range between £2,000 and £3,000, depending on the extent of gene analysis required.

This is why I am reaching out for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to accessing the testing that could make all the difference in my recovery.
