*UPDATE

Here is my first appointment of many from the trip. Check it out if you all would like to and excuse my awkwardness at times aha. Thank you all again for the donations! You all are life savers.

After a long couple of weeks of two appointments per day, I've finally reached my goal which I didn't think was possible with having my pain levels way down. I know I'll never be perfect but Dr. Rahim has given me the ability to have a fresh start and a new outlook on life. Without all of your help, I'd still be in the same dark place that I've been for far too long. I'm looking forward to coming home and I have been given the tools I need to keep healing and moving forward. Although I won't be able to play hockey or go to the gym for a minimum of one year, I'm confident that in time I will be able to continue doing what I love best - playing hockey! Thanks again for all of your love and support.

"Thank you to everyone who donated to help me receive this treatment! It means the world to me. I will be leaving Sunday for 2 weeks to attend appointments during that time in Los Angeles. I'll be posting updates a few times a week while I'm down there.

For about 10 years I've dealt with excruciating back pain no one in their mid 20's should have. I have fractured vertebrae, bulged discs, Scoliosis, Osteoarthritis, Kyphosis (Scheurmann's disease) and nerve damage. I'm not able to do many things like basic tasks in my day-to-day living and haven't been able to work a job in over 2 years which has made life tough, to say the least.

I found a chiropractor in Los Angeles that can finally help me with a specialized treatment over a possible 2-week period.

I feel this is my best chance to get my life back and feel like a guy my age again.

The funds will be used for the treatment cost and travel expenses. I'm not big on asking for help usually but this would mean a lot.
