I am very excited to share about an amazing opportunity that the Lord has opened for me to go on a mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic from November 9th-17th. I am going with a team of women from my church, Genesis Church, led by our woman’s ministry director. While we are there, we will be helping to assist the Women’s Coordinator at TIME, to prepare for a 3-day women’s conference that will be held from Nov.13-15. This conference will help to encourage pastor wives to keep their hearts on Christ during adversity and pouring into them to strengthen them in their walk with the Lord. I will have a role in speaking to these ladies about running a Vacation Bible School program (VBS). We will also be visiting a shelter for women who have escaped human trafficking and ministering to them. Testimonies will be shared at this time as well.

During the earlier part of the week, we will be preparing material, crafts, baking, cleaning, and decorating to make this event a special time for the ladies.

I would like to ask if you would consider partnering with me on this trip, first, by praying for me and secondly, if you are able to give financially toward my trip that would be a huge blessing to me. I need to raise a total of $1,500, which will cover my food, housing and travel expenses for the week.

I would also like to ask for your prayers. Can you please pray for safe travel and good health while we are there. Please pray that lives will be encouraged and changed while we take the time to pray and minister with the woman and girls in the DR. Pray that I would also grow in my walk with the Lord and that he would renew my strength to continue to serve Him with JOY, to where he has called me.
