Hi my name is Shenequa Scott I was involved in a fire on Sunday the 9th. I lived in building 333 east 181 street apartment 3L all my life over 25 years. The fire started on my floor which is the third floor rite next door to my apartment. Me & my family were trapped in the apartment because of all the black smoke & flames. By the grace of god we were very lucky to be saved. We had to get rescued threw the window. I thank god we were able to make it out alive. Now we are currently staying in a hotel & we lost everything. I thank god my 9 year old son was not home when the fire broke out but unfortunately all his belongings are also gone. I never expected nothing like this my whole 30 years of life it was the most scariest day of my life. The smoke was soo thick & black We couldn’t see anything but because we been in the apartment for so many years we knew how to feel the ways to make it to the next room where FDNY broke the window out & saved us thank you lord. Please help me & my family while we are going threw this difficult situation. Thank you amen
