Please help me keep my restaurant in Zanzibar, Tanzania

Greetings Folks!

I Hope everyone is well and in good spirits

My name is Ashley-Marie and I relocated to Zanzibar, Tanzania and started a lucrative restaurant business. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now asking for your assistance with helping to keep my restaurant afloat, as I am in jeopardy of losing my business.

I opened this beautiful location in the heart of Stonetown, July 1, 2023

Unfortunately, my business partner pulled out of the restaurant and I have been left with everything due. I need $12,000 to keep this place afloat (renovations, rent, utilities, salaries) until June when I’ll be able to renegotiate my lease agreement. So far, I received $2,400 as of last night from a friend that simply wants to make sure I hang on to this space! (Super grateful)

I have to keep this space. I’ve partnered with a great friend and chef last year, Chef Byron Bradley Jr. He flew in last year to help me open my restaurant. Since then, we have established a hospitality and culinary exchange program between the city of New Orleans and Zanzibar, Tanzania. We completed the grant to fund this program last year and made it to the last round of this grant award! We’ll have the official award letter answer by this month! Those funds would be available to me by July to support the space. Under this grant, Zanzibar will be the first African sister city for the city of New Orleans! Students and adults in hospitality or culinary school or working in the industry will be eligible for this program. All of their lodging/accommodations are covered under this program. They will complete their internship in my restaurant when traveling to Zanzibar and at Chef Byron’s restaurant when in New Orleans.

See why I have to keep this space? I just need to hold tight until June! A good friend and lover of The Box by Ashley.Maybe wired me $2,400 yesterday. She wants to remain anonymous. I still can’t believe it but I am receiving it.

Now, I only need $9,600 to reach my goal. This will cover renovations, rental costs, utilities, and salaries until June.
