Hi, my name is Ashley and I am currently dealing with a very possible upcoming cancer diagnosis. I currently have a large tumor on my adrenal gland, about the size of a baseball and several nodules in my lungs. I have a pretty good health insurance policy, but with all the tests I have been having to get I’m having to pay out of pocket costs before my insurance actually starts to pay and that has been rough on finances. I also had to take time off of work because I had no idea if I could even be physically active without knowing what’s causing my heart rate to spike so badly, so that made finances even more difficult to keep up with. I won’t know what I can and can’t do until we get further into the diagnosis to figure out what’s causing what. It’s been several years since I’ve been without a savings and the biopsy I had to get just to figure out what I have took all the money I had to my name and that only pays a fractions of what I owe. I’m usually the last person to ask for help but this situation is so above my head that I’m having to let go of my pride. Anything and everything means the world to me right now so if you can help us out during this rough patch we would be so grateful. We just want to be able to keep our heads above water until we can get past this.
