Help me keep my apartment after emergency surgeries
Donation protected
Oh man, I'm sorry to have to ask you guys for help. Very recently, I woke up with with my right foot very swollen, painful, and blue. I tried working that day (ride share) but ended up crashing into the exit gates of my apartment because I thought could drive but really I couldn't. Turned out I was unable to lift my foot enough to move to the the brake pedal and engage the brake in time to stop. I'm currently at St. Joe's hospital, post op, suffering with the huge fear of losing my apartment. The emergency surgery was to scrape and aspirate clots from my veins and arteries and lungs. They also found a small hole in my heart. The arterial clots I guess are sometimes heard of but not often seen. They are stilI doing testing for like an autoimmune disease or, unfortunately, worse. I just got my apartment and got organized literally like a week ago. The last couple of months I've been in and out of in-patient therapy facilities for mobility and wound care issues. I just got an apartment living by myself because my Mom was just diagnosed with dementia like 5 months ago and has moved out of the city. I can't even make this up and to be honest, I'm mindblown about how my life hàs had all of these crazy events and dealing with feeling scared and feeling a little lonely. I will be happy to tell you guys that despite all of this I remain California sober through this for those of you who know I was struggling with depression and hitting the sauce too much and too hard. I gotta say, I'm really proud of how far I've come these last few months with my depression and alcoholism. I would never ask for a handout but I'm legit in danger of losing my apartment and I have no where to go. If you guys could please find it in your hearts to help a friend out I would appreciate it more than you know. Thank you so much for your consideration and generosity. I appreciate you and love you all very much.
