Back to Fighting in the Ring – Help Me Get to the Club Championships
As many of you know, I was a kickboxer many years ago, but life threw me some serious curveballs. A back injury sidelined me, and then I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. What followed were years of chemo, surgeries, and recovery — my passion for the sport had to take a back seat.
Fast forward six years, I’m no longer fighting cancer — I’m back fighting in the ring, doing what I love most.
Last week, I stepped into the ring for the first time in 13 years at the King/Queen of the Ring tournament in NSW… and I won Queen of the Ring in my division! At 45, after everything life’s thrown at me, that win meant everything. The hard training and sacrifices paid off
Next up: the Club Championships in South Australia, happening in just a few weeks. This is a huge event where I’ll represent the Northern Territory, possibly fighting a few times over 3 days against fighters from all over the world.
But these opportunities come with a cost — flights, accommodation, car hire, food, supplements, entry fees, time off work… it all adds up quickly. That’s why I’m reaching out for support — through donations or sponsorships — to help me chase this dream.
If you’re able to contribute anything at all, it would mean the world to me.
Sponsors who contribute $300 or more will get their logo on my fight shirt plus a shoutout on social media and photos taken throughout the journey.
And the best part? All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you so much for your support — whether it’s financial, emotional, or just cheering me on. In grateful xx
