Help Me Send Hope to Jamaica — A Container of Care for St. Elizabeth
My name is Bianca, and I’m reaching out from the bottom of my heart to ask for your help.
- My family lives in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, a beautiful but struggling community that has been hit hard by hurricane Melissa— lack of resources, limited access to clean water, and the daily fight to survive without the basics most of us take for granted. Every video i see breaks me a little more and seeing an island in desperate need....
I can’t sit by any longer.
THEY NEED HELP
I’m raising funds to fill and send a 20ft shipping container of essentials directly to St. Elizabeth — not just to my family, but to the wider community in desperate need. I want to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to people who no longer have anything.
This isn’t just about supplies — it’s about survival and solidarity.
I’ll be collecting:
Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, feminine care, deodorant, towels and flannels)
Clean water/ filters, purification tablets
Baby and children’s items (toys, clothes, diapers)
First aid kits and medical basics
Solar-powered items (lights, radios, power banks)
Tools and walkie-talkies — so locals can connect, rebuild, and protect each other
Adult clothes
To make this happen, I need to raise a lot but to start im asking for help raise £3,000 to cover:
The purchase of a shipping container
Storage costs while collecting donations
Shipping fees to get the container safely to Jamaica
Every pound, every share, every kind word brings us one step closer to changing lives.
Even the smallest act of giving can create ripples of hope — a light that travels across the sea to remind a struggling family that they’re not alone.
Please, if you can, help me send this container of care and love to Jamaica. Together, we can show Jamaica (St. Elizabeth) that compassion knows no borders.
Thank you from the depths of my heart.
