My name is DJ and I was recently mugged and held captive at knifepoint at a party and forced to factory reset my phone and hand it to them. The experience was extremely stressful in itself, but not having access to a phone makes it more difficult as i need a high quality phone to progress various aspects of my career and generate income; I used my phone for social media, for high quality photography, to record song ideas, to contact my work etc. and also (ironically) to keep me safe in public. Now I don't feel safe leaving the house whatsoever, nor can i generate income through social media or contact my boss. Any funds contributed will go towards helping me purchase a new iPhone.
