End of April update - Smashed it! So proud of myself. After lots of rain, colds and exams in March, 122.6 miles completed in April bringing my total to 411.83 miles walked so far in 2026. Left Brussels behind and heading for Liege.... Every donation really is appreciated to help me get to £3k.

End of March update - 99.87 miles done leaving me ahead of target - over 1/4 of the miles 'walked' to Poland (289.23 miles completed from the 1st of Jan to the 31st of March!). April is looking hopeful as 23.55 miles have already been completed due to the few days exploring Paris and the decision to walk not lift up the Eiffel Tower. I hope everyone has a nice Easter and thank you for all your donations so far - they've really kept me going over the past few months.

Spring has arrived - 252.37 miles walked to date (20th March), welly walks have turned to spring sunshine (thankfully). 892.62 miles left to go and just 30 miles to go this month until I've hit a quarter of the total miles! Exams have meant less walking in the past two weeks but I'm back on it today.

January 26 update - 95.33 miles completed meaning I've only got 1049.67 miles left to go! Pretty good considering ice, snow and illness. Thank you for your donations so far and for all the support - let's see what February brings!

Hi, I'm Isabel and I've been given the amazing opportunity to represent Staffordshire and UK Scouting at the World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk, Poland in 2027. I'll be joining 35 young people from Staffordshire and 30,000 worldwide. This is a huge honour and the opportunity of a lifetime to build new skills, meet new people and share my love of Scouting.

One small issue...I need to raise £3000 for this to happen. In the next year I am aiming to walk 1145 miles, the distance between Lichfield and Gdansk as well as running a shared distance as part of a group selected from Lichfield.
