Me continue to get by

Hi, my name is Tina and I am fundraising for myself at this time.

I am on disability and have been since having a kidney transplant, but I was able to work to support myself on top of that.

At the beginning of May my mom had passed away and a week later I found out I have stage 3 ovarian cancer. You could say it was a shock to my family and me, and overwhelming to deal with. I had to stop working, I needed to have surgery to remove the mass, it took 8 hrs and a long recovery.

I'm currently on chemo and tolerating pretty good, but not enough energy to do a lot, I have good days and bad days.

I did receive a small inheritance from the passing of my mother until this month, when it ran out. I don't know what else to do, and a friend suggested this.

I'm single with no dependants but it doesn't mean I don't need help. Disability only covers my rent, I have no extra money to pay for groceries and my bills. I did get rid of extra expenses that I don't need and cut back as much as I can.

I know people would rather support families in need, but being a single person with one income is tough and stressful also.

I know that it is very difficult during this time for everyone, but if you can donate even a little, it helps.
