Help me get to NYCDA Competition this Summer 2023

Hi, my name is Alexa Chirino, but many of you know me by Lexi. I'm currently 11 years old and I am from Miami Florida. I started dancing competitively at the age of 6 and I have been in love with it ever since! I train 7 days a week averaging 4 to 6 hrs a day. I am being guided, supported, and mentored by some of the best master teachers, choreographers, and personal fitness trainers in the industry of dance. Some of you ask me, why I practice and work so hard? Through dance I have been taught discipline, responsibility, accountability, commitment, leadership, and being a team player. Also, winning numerous competitions, scholarships, and titles, being acknowledged by NYCDA as an Outstanding Dancer 2 years in a row, and being invited to be a part of the SoleTalkYouth Tap Company directed by the one and only Chloe Arnold number one tapper in the world. I am a competition dancer at THE ROXY PERFORMING ART CENTER and have been for 6 years, located in Miami-Dade County, FL. Dance is my passion but my first priority is my education. I am a full-time 5th grader at St. Agatha Catholic School and I study hard to maintain straight A's and be on the principal honor roll every semester. My mother is 1st my Mommy and 2nd my best friend she is a registered nurse and works two full-time nursing jobs at the ER and is a RN Case Manager. She works hard to support me with my passions and my 2-year-old brother. She is my role model because she is the most supportive, and loving human you can meet, but my worse critic, she is my go-to person to know if I did good or bad. My dance life is very expensive and I want to help my mom. I would like to ask if you can help me get to NYC this summer I would be so appreciative. Every little bit counts.
