Storage unit rental so I don’t lose everything I own

As some of you know, my living situation is a little precarious. I have to sell the stupid van because I have nowhere to put it and can’t afford to fix it. Unfortunately I’ve been using it as storage for half of my belongings, while the other half sits in boxes and bags on the floor of the place I’m currently staying. I still am yet to receive a paycheck and can hardly afford basic necessities.

But more worrisome is I’m pretty much at the whim of the person I live with and could very quickly find myself completely homeless with no where to put everything I own but in the trash or abandon it.

Id like to at least rent a storage unit until I can get back on my own feet and possibly have somewhere for me and the cat to go in an emergency
