Gaza Needs Us: Together for Families in Crisis
Donation protected
I am Abdul Rahman Bseiso, a 23-year-old from Gaza City. Before October 7th, my life was beautiful and stable. I was in my fourth year studying computer engineering, with only two years left until graduation. I hoped to pursue a master's degree after graduating and continue learning. I spent my time learning programming languages and going to the sports club. My family consists of my father Fadl, my mother Haya, my twin brother Muhammad, and three twin sisters. Thank God, our lives were wonderful and simple. We lived beautiful days, and we owned a house and a car.

After October 7th, when the war started, I lost my university as it was completely destroyed. The Israeli occupation displaced my family more than five times within northern Gaza. They entered our house, destroyed it, threw its contents out from a height, bombarded it with missiles and bullets, and destroyed the roof and walls. I lived in this terror and destruction, surrounded by the smell of blood, for more than 480 days until this moment.

I need help leaving Gaza to complete my treatment abroad, as I suffered a knee injury and it broke. I cannot undergo surgery at present due to the hospitals in northern Gaza being out of service and the lack of healthcare and specialists to perform the operation. I will attach some of my papers, tests, and X-rays.

As for my studies, I enrolled in distance learning at Birzeit University in the West Bank, but I faced difficulties due to power cuts. There is no internet, and I cannot operate my laptop. There are internet points in the street, but they are dangerous because I may be exposed to bombing or gunfire from quadcopter aircraft. A group of citizens was bombed while gathering to capture the internet, resulting in deaths and injuries.

In the end, I hope you will help me get out of Gaza, save my family from death, and create a beautiful future for us.
Thank you
