Me and my partner to get married.

Hi everyone.

My name is John and i have never asked for help in anyway my whole life.

I met my partner in 2011 and we started a bit of a distance relationship because I lived in London and Amy lived in Bristol. Amy was working for an insurance company and got moved to London for a year and everything was working out well. So after a while we decided to move to Bristol and start our life there rather than London.

I had my building company and Amy was still working for the same company so everything was sound. We never thought there was any need to rush into getting married because we had all the time in the world together.

So lets jump 12 years" I'm know a bricklaying foreman and loving life and to be fair things for us had never felt so relaxed.

Until the day I went to the doctors for a miner thing but had to have my bloods taken. About three days later the doctors phoned me to go back in because it was urgent they spoke to me. My results came in with a PSA test count of 248 and at my age of 54 should of been around 3.

So on that day I was told i had cancer but i wasn't told how bad or what to expect. The following week i had an appointment with oncology and found out things wasn't looking good. Anyway after many tests and biopsy's the results came back that my cancer had metastasised to my lymph nodes and bones. This meant that the possibility of having my prostate removed wasn't an option. I was also told that whilst there may be a possibility of a maximum life span of 6

years (if i was lucky), the average was 3-4 years.

Amy has been my absolute rock in my life since the day we met and she has been a complete angel and has been there for everything since my diagnosis. Amy has always only been the girl for me and the only woman I've ever wanted to marry.

So this fund raising is for help for us to get married on the 30th august this year.

My health is getting worse every day know to the point its visible and noticeable by others.
