Me and my family need help to move

Donation protected
Hello, I'm writing this today to ask for assistance with a living situation that me & my family have been dealing with since February. This year has by far probably been the worst year of my life. I'm trying to be hopeful and move on, but it's been so hard. No extended family or any personal friends to call on for help really. Since the only family I know/have contact with is my immediate family, which is my younger brother, mom, and dad.

Back at the end of January, my family had gotten a letter on our door that the homeowner we had been renting our 4-bedroom house from since 2012 was wanting to end our lease. So we were given 30 days to move out, to move out on February 28th. Moving 13 years of living within 30 days is A LOT of work and was extremely emotional. 30 days to find a new place while owning 4 pets (two cats & two dogs) isn't easy either. Luckily, my younger brother's friend has a side business where he repairs and sells campers/trailers. He let us rent and pay to own one. Since it was a quick thing, we needed a place to move quickly. So we went with him with no paperwork of our deal and it was more of an informal agreement.

We had gotten a storage unit to hold our things (which is $80 a month), including all my stuff from my room. All I could fit is my personal computer, a shoebox of things, along with some outfits in the camper. I lost all my privacy and my "room" became a bed with a curtain. It was very stressful and a massive change for my family to go from a house to a small camper. My brother's friend is renting the trailer and also a spot on his grandmother's property (a property she owns with a manufactured home on it that hasn't been lived in for years). Both together are $100 cheaper than what we were paying each month for our house we were renting. Before we could move the camper onto the property, me and my younger brother had to spend a few days chopping down trees to make a path to bring the camper into the spot we wanted to set it at. We didn't have any money to buy a gas chainsaw, so we had to use an electric chainsaw that ran out of charge quickly and a hand saw. It took a lot of effort, but we were able to get all the trees chopped down and then pay for the towing of the camper.

We moved in at the start of March. We've been living here ever since. Then my brother's friend dropped a bombshell on my family. He told us at the end of May that his grandmother is in the hospital. His aunt is taking over the property and wants to sell it. So he is giving us two months to move out, end of July. He also took the rent money we had for him for May and is also keeping the camper we are living in. So the money we put into it to eventually own it is just gone. It hasn't even been half a year and we are being removed from our living area again. Only just three freaking months, man...

I got a job back in March, a part-time stocker overnight. I've been trying to get full-time or more hours. Thankfully, I got temporary full-time at my job as part of the remodel team, but don't start the temp full-time till the end of June. Thus being only one month to save. And this past month, they've only been giving me sprinkles of 32 hours and mostly 24-hour weeks x.x

My father works. My mother doesn't, and my younger brother just got a job, but he is focusing his money more on himself, he said. So the moving money and other things we gotta pay for is mostly mine and my dad's paychecks. Thankfully, my brother's friend is allowing us to stay here the two months without having to pay the two months' rent. But to move here in Florida with 4 people and 4 pets is gonna be a lot of money and gonna be a whole thing. This is the reason why I'm making this GoFundMe. We need more money to better maneuver more financially and be more at ease. It's truly terrifying to not know the future and not having a stable foundation. To be threatened with having nowhere to go or live. My greatest fear is being homeless and the anxiety from that has been very potent this past year.

I would like to also add the current living conditions that are less important and not to sound ungrateful (most important thing is we have somewhere to live currently compared to having no home), but I thought I would add it anyway. Due to him quickly tossing this trailer together, things have been breaking or don't have. Due to the heat being so hot, it's been getting so hot inside. The camper AC is unable to keep up with outside temps, so we've been sweating so much. The electric wiring he did is janky and kinda dangerous. The water heater broke a month ago, so we've been taking cold showers. We have a dryer that works but no washer, so we've been washing all our laundry by hand. The front door lock is broken, so we go to sleep during the night unable to lock the door, leaving the camper open to anyone who tries to open the door. There are holes in the roof, so the ceiling has been leaking, thus the ceiling paint is peeling and dripping.

Thank you for taking the time to read my GoFundMe posting. I always feel awful to ask for help like this. I try my best to take care of my own problems, but it's just so much happening this year. Only give if you are able to.
