Me and God vs. Stage 4 #Winning

Donation protected
Hey family! I hope all is well. Some of you know may already know, but for those who don't, my name is Leon "Lejo" Granger and I have Stage 4 Prostate cancer. I was diagnosed in January 2018. I immediately began chemotherapy and hormone shots. After four rounds of chemo, my doctors wanted to remove my prostate and bladder. I chose not to do so because it is only a band-aid for my problem as it wasn't going to deal with the cancer in my lymph nodes and bones which could still spread throughout my body. I changed my eating habits and began taking natural supplements to attack the cancer and deal with any inflammation. Over the next three months, the supplements and new diet helped to shrink my prostate. In August/September I had some additional testing done and afterwards experienced some mild to moderate pain.  After much research, I found that certain parts of the testing irritated and "woke up" some sleeping cancer.
On October 6th, I participated in a 5k walk for Prostate cancer and began having excruciating pain in my lower back, landing me in the emergency room later that day. I have been in pain everyday since. Prescribed pain medicines that did not work, I underwent two interventional radiology procedures to help, however, only the first one worked. After the second procedure, my pain got worse.
Today, I take morphine several times throughout the day to alleviate my pain. My current physician only has more band-aids for my problem. There is no attacking or killing the cancer. There is no boosting of my immune system. I am being pacified until I overdose on pain meds or until the cancer spreads to different organs and shuts my body down.
I am a spiritual man, and through prayer, I believe that God has led me to a different doctor with a treatment plan that could save my life. His plan involves attacking, starving and killing the cancer; slowing and stopping the spread of the disease, rebuilding my bones, detoxing my liver to rid it of dead cancer cells, detoxing my lymphatic system, repairing damaged tissues, nutritional advice and putting my immune system into overdrive so it can join in the fight and eradicate the cancer.
The issue is MY INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER THE TREATMENT.
I've sought other means of coverage, however, my pre-existing condition prohibits me from being eligible.
The cost of the treatment is $48,000. I am saving every penny that I have and have family and friends trying to help me reach my goal as well.
I humbly thank you for taking the time to read some of my story, and hope that if you're able to contribute to my cause that you do so. Please know that any and everything helps. If you're able to donate, I'll forever be grateful; if not, please spread the word about the importance of men getting their prostate checked at the age of 35. Prevention is key and I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this.
Again, thank you for your time and/or donations.

Sincerely,
Leon "Lejo" Granger
