Hi, my name is Daniel and in 2019 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. As the tumour (acoustic neuroma) has grown it has resulted in me having hearing loss in my left ear whilst having to cope with tinnitus and I had to leave my permanent job a year ago as the noisy atmosphere was too difficult so now I just do contract work from home.

Not having a regular income or any employee benefits is stressful in itself as i still have the mortgage to pay every month and all the bills. I’ll have to have treatment in the next year or so and whilst hopefully the impact of treatment won’t affect me too much I still don’t know so it would be great to build up some money to help with paying the bills / unexpected costs / maybe even a holiday or to enter some races or buy some more running gear!

Anyway whatever you can give would be much appreciated
