I noticed a lump in late November 2022 and had to fight to get my concerns taken seriously by doctors. Then in March of 2023 I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. After further testing that diagnosis was upped to Stage 2B. I've already undergone a lot of tests, a lumpectomy, a reduction, and an axillary lymph node dissection. The next steps include a port placement, chemotherapy, physical therapy, radiation, and hormone therapy.
Even with insurance, Cancer is expensive, and I'm having trouble paying for it. My current debts and estimated out-of-pocket for the rest of the insurance year is 10k. I don't know if I'll reach that much but every penny will help me afford my treatments.
