I can't believe it's been almost 4 months since Mike has gone into hospice care. I am so very lucky to spend every day working from home and be here with him. Although he is much weaker than 4 months ago, weighs less, and pain must be constantly managed, he has really defied all odds by still being here. I thank God every single day!
I ask you to continue praying for our girls Katie and Melissa who will not have their Dad to walk them down the aisle on the day of their marriage. He won't see our first grandbaby. He won't be able to teach Katie to drive or see her graduate High School. These are the things that make me sad. All those "firsts" that we won't have him for.
We would appreciate anything you can send to help with some of the final expenses. You have all been generous over and above what we have expected and appreciate everything so much. The love we have been shown just affirms to us there are good caring people still in this world.
God is good and even in this sadness He has been good to us.
