We are reaching out to you today to support an incredible young woman, Ropa, who is facing a life-threatening challenge. Ropa, a 21-year-old medical student at the University of Zimbabwe, has always been a bright and bubbly presence, full of potential and dreams for her future. But right now, she is in a fight for her life after being diagnosed with a malignant phyllodes tumor, a rare and aggressive tumour.

Ropa’s doctors have recommended urgent treatment, which will require an operation in India, where she can receive specialized care. The cost of the surgery, travel and medical expenses is $$20,064 – an amount her family cannot afford to pay.

We are asking for your generosity to help Ropa receive the care she needs to continue her education, so that she can one day become a doctor. The tumour is rapidly growing and without surgery, her health and future are at risk.
