Yesterday evening, my parents' house caught on fire while only my brother was home. He was in there until the roof started collapsing, trying to save our dogs. Unfortunately, one of them got stuck in the fire and didn’t make it.

My parents and brother lost everything. Including our childhood pictures and belongings. My brother didn’t even have a shirt or shoes on. My mom does dialysis and lives off of disability, and my dad just broke his ribs two weeks ago, so that is their only income. They will need to start over with EVERYTHING. My mom will need medical supplies for her colostomy. All of them will need beds and clothes. Hygiene. Food. We had one dog that survived, and she will need everything including food and leashes. They will need to find a new place to live. The only thing they have is the clothes on their back, and my brother didn’t have anything but jeans on.
