Hi,my names Emma and I need help in raising money for an operation for my 15 year old son.He has been diagnosed with Pectus Carinatum which is a chest abnormality.We have been seeing consultants and surgeons for the last 5 years and we have been told the operation that he needs isn’t available on the NHS.He is self-conscious about going out,getting changed for PE at school and we all know how cruel some children can be.He has low self esteem and doesn’t go out socialising with friends.

After the consultation with a surgeon at New Cross Hospital today,we were told the operation is going to cost roughly £18,000 which I cannot afford.
