Abby’s eye surgery
Donation protected
Abby has been my loyal companion for 13 years, sharing in both the joyful and toughest moments of my life. Through it all, she’s been my constant, always by my side. In late 2023, I learned that her health was failing—she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I’ve done everything I can to help her, feeding her special prescription food in hopes of slowing the disease and giving us more time together. Then, in 2024, Abby faced another challenge—she was diagnosed with glaucoma. The pressure in her eye became too much, and she lost her sight in that eye. Sadly, the eye drops are no longer effective, and her eye is now at risk of rupturing. On April 1st, she will undergo surgery to have it removed.
Having a pet is never just about caring for an animal; they become family. Abby has been that family to me, and now I’m reaching out for help so I can provide the care she needs. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us both. Thank you.
