We all lost a very beloved member of our community. Carlos Ruvalcaba; a son, a friend, a manager, held a special place in the hearts of so many people. As former Totopos staff members, he was for many of us, the first person to take a chance and hire us. But as so much more, he constantly played the roles of a listener, a counselor, a jokester, and above all a giver. Acts of kindness do not go unnoticed, and for Carlos, his subtle ways of making someone feel accepted in any environment is very powerful. Simply offering someone some food he made in the kitchen, knowing they were having a bad day, pushed the boundary from manager to friend amidst a stressful life or work situation. Carlos always took care of the people he worked with, and the memories we made with him will be cherished for a lifetime.

We want to give the family and loved ones of Carlos anything we can to help during this incredibly difficult time. Being a provider for his family, we ask for any donation, as we will be giving all donations to the Ruvalcaba family to help with any funeral/medical expenses. We are sending so much love to the family.
