Michael's 2017 WKU USA to Ireland

Michael D Smith is going to Ireland to compete on the WKU USA team in the fall of 2017. Michael competed in 2016 and earned 3 bronze medals which secured his spot on the team this year, but that wasn't good enough for him, he also tried out for 3 more spots, won 2 of them, and broke his bo in the 3rd so he was disqualified.
Michael not only trains every day, but he is teaching classes 4 days a week at Sport Karate Academy. Along with training and teaching he is competing most weekends all over the country to gain experience and get in the ring training.
Michael just turned 17, so this will be his last year competing as a Junior black belt.
The trip will cost our family approximately $7000, but we are only trying to raise the portion to cover Michael's fees and expenses.
