My name is Mark Kirchner. I am 65 years old and I have been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

I am no longer able to work due to this. I am also unable to drive anymore due to seizures.

I am on here to ask people to donate to me  as I am going to have medical bills that I was not expecting at this time of my life and because of this I do not have the necessary funds available to me at this time of my life.

I am going in for surgery January 15, 2016. I am not sure at this point how long I will be in recovery. I know I will be needing radiation and probably chemotherapy as well as physical therapy when surgery is done.

I never thought I would be online asking for help like this but I have no choice. My assets are very low and all I will be getting is my Social Security which is not much. I do have insurance but it has a $2000 deductable which I am responsible for. Then it only pays at 50% until I reach $6000. After that it pays 100%. Unfortunately I do not have this kind of money banked as I have pretty much had to live check to check my entire life.

I am not looking to leave this life at this point. Without this operation life is pretty much over for me. Even after the operation life expectancy is not the greatest but at least it is something. Like I said earlier I hate that I am on here asking for help but I have no other recourse at this point. I would be so thankful for any help that I may receive through here.
