Help Keep Baby Henry From Being Evicted

Hey Everyone, I hate that I am even having to write this but I am in quite a pickle. I have been renting to own my home from my friend for nearly a decade and I was very close to buying the house until I was served with an eviction notice on Friday. The pandemic hit us pretty hard and we got behind on rent. We were Airbnb’ing our guest rooms at the time but when the pandemic hit we lost over 40 stays which was a big chunk of money. We got behind on rent but our landlord was still working with us to keep the rent to own agreement. The eviction notice was a huge surprise, especially considering my wife and I had our first child, Henry, last month. Now we are facing eviction as new parents with a one month old baby. The eviction notice gives us seven days to pay the back rent and the late fees or we will be evicted. I am starting a GoFundMe but I intend to pay everybody back in full asap.
