My name is Richard Cox and am a co-worker of Kent Mangabat's.
Kent was on his way home after work on his motorcycle when a van pulled out in front of him. Kent hit the van full force, doing about 30 mph. He sustained multiple injuries, a broken wrist and internal hemorrhaging. He had to have immediate surgery to save his life.
The surgeons at John Muir Hospital were able to patch Kent back up, but his wrist was still to swollen to know if he needed further surgery to correct it.
After resting at John Muir, Kent was transported to the Kaiser Facility in Vacaville, where they determined he would need another surgery to repair his wrist.
Kent is now recovering at home, but due to his injuries, he is unable to work. I am starting this fund to help cover the funds to keep his family taken care of and any extra medical assistance that Kent will need.
Kent is an extremely hard worker, always willing to help anybody, even if he has to do without. He always has a smile and a cheerful demeanor. I would be grateful to anybody that can help Kent, his 2 daughters and his wife through this difficult time. Any money donated would be well received and help ease the already stressful situation and allow Kent to worry about healing.
