Jamaica Needs Us — Let’s Stand Together

Hurricane Melissa has devastated sections of Jamaica — tearing through homes, flooding communities, and leaving thousands without food, electricity, or clean water.

As proud Jamaicans with deep roots and family still on the island, this tragedy hits home for us. We’ve been watching in heartbreak as friends and loved ones struggle to rebuild from nothing. Many families have lost their homes, their businesses, and even the most basic essentials.

We can’t sit back and do nothing — so we’re stepping up.

Who We Are

We are Jumbileen, a Jamaican-born self-care brand founded by @Rochielin, and @ShawnAgain. Together, we’ve always believed in community, resilience, and giving back to the island that shaped us.

This GoFundMe is our way of using our voices and platforms to help our people — real families, real lives — rebuild after Hurricane Melissa.

How Your Donations Will Help

Every dollar will go directly toward relief efforts in Jamaica, focusing on immediate needs and longer-term rebuilding.

Here’s how your support will be used:

Food & Groceries for families who’ve lost everything

Clean Water & Hygiene Supplies for daily survival

Temporary Shelter & Roof Repairs for those displaced

Support for Mothers & Children (baby items, essentials)

Community Recovery — helping to pay bills where necessary

We’ll be purchasing and distributing supplies both locally and through verified partners on the ground. We will also share transparent updates — photos, videos, and receipts — so you can see exactly where your contributions go.

Why This Means So Much to Us

We may live abroad, but Jamaica is still home. Our hearts are there. Many Jamaican families are currently without shelter, without power, and struggling to access food and water.

This GoFundMe is a personal relief effort organized by Rochielin and Shawn to support families and communities in Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa. We are not a registered charity. All funds raised will go directly toward providing aid, supplies, and assistance to those impacted. No goods or services will be exchanged for donations.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for donating, sharing, and standing with us.

Let’s help Jamaica rebuild — one family, one roof, one act of kindness at a time.

With gratitude and love,
