Help Jay beat Cancer!
Donation protected
We are asking everyone to assist our family in a time of need. My brother, Jay Hall, recently found out that he has Colorectal Cancer. He has had multiple tests and a PET scan to determine that it has shown very little spread, a few of his lymph nodes are affected, but they are already in the radiation treatment area, so they’ll be taken care of without any extra steps.
His treatment plan will consist of 6-7 weeks of an oral chemotherapy along with radiation therapy. This will take place everyday M-F. After finishing the chemo/radiation, He will be given 4 weeks to let his body recover some, before getting an IV port, and receiving chemotherapy infusions for 6 more months, twice a week every other week. At the end of IV chemotherapy, He will move along to surgery to remove what’s left of the tumor. Our hope is that after surgery to remove the tumor that he will be cancer free.
He has started his oral chemotherapy and radiation therapy as of last week. We are asking assistance since all of the medical bills are starting to roll in. From all of the bloodwork that has had to be done, to the colonoscopy and biopsies, and some ER visits from side effects from the cancer. For treatment, Jay will be driving from Clarence to Mt Nittany every Monday-Friday for almost 6 weeks straight. So gas money would be a great help to them as well. He is still currently able to work, however, when you are leaving for multiple hours every day, its not paying the bills at home.
Jay and Leigh-Anne have three beautiful daughters and a grand daughter to be expected late November/early December. Their oldest, Harley, has just moved back from Texas and is currently 6 months pregnant. Their second daughter, Autumn, has just started college this year for accounting. Isabell, their youngest daughter, is in 4th grade and has just started football cheerleading. Leigh-Anne works third shift as an RN and has been there for Jay every step of the way. She has had multiple days where she has gotten very little sleep between working and going to appointments. She works hard to save everyone else's family when they walk into the ER especially during the pandemic so let's work hard to return the favor and give back to this family!
