My name is Jayla Galvez, and I’m raising funds to help bring my dad home after he was unexpectedly deported.

My dad has lived in the United States since he was 19 years old. He built his life here — working hard, contributing to his community, and raising his family. This country is the only home he has truly known as an adult, and being forced to leave has been devastating for him and for all of us.

He is a devoted father and grandfather. He was a steady source of support for me and my daughter, his grandchild, and his presence meant stability and comfort for our family. His sudden deportation has left us separated and struggling to adjust to life without him here. And has left me, his only daughter, to deal with the weight of everything going on and has caused great stress for me.

We are raising funds to help cover legal fees, travel costs, required documentation, and basic living expenses as we work toward reuniting our family. These costs add up quickly, and the process is overwhelming.
