Let's help our friend Miss Shanika ❤️

This gofund me page is for my friend Miss Shanika. Let me tell you a little about her and why I feel so compelled to write this. So compelled in fact that its 223 am and im up writing this...im a mother of 2 boys under 5, who are both sound a sleep yet me a sleep depraved momma is up doing this because i really need to help....I met shanika a little less than a year ago, and in that short time she has gained a spot in my heart but most importantly a spot in my sons heart. We work at an early education center in harrisburg together. Miss shanika has worked there for the past 17 years! She is one of the best preschool teachers I know. If you ever had the pleasure of working or being taught by her you already know. This woman is such a hard worker and puts her whole self in all her work. My 4 year old son is in her class and boy o boy let him tell you about his favorite teacher miss shanika....my whole family knows who she is....this boy listens to her more than me...in fact so much so I have used the "ima tell miss shanika" at home.... Shanika needs our help...and you would never know it from meeting her because she is selfless and would never ask for help. Everyday as miss shanika transforms into the troll under the bridge in the 3 Billy goats gruff or the big bad wolf in the three little pigs she is in pain...she needs hip surgery and has needed this surgery for sometime now...she walks with a limp and it's not part of her brooklyn swag lol...she needs this surgery and it would mean taking off of work for about 6 weeks...since its a preexistingcondition she unfortunately does not qualify for disability benefits......let's help her take the time off work and be financially ok.....let's come together to help our friend our kids favorite teacher!
