McWilliams Headstone Restoration

Help us to replace the unrepairable headstones with grass markers for the founding members of Grandpa McWilliams. His grandparents traveled from Wigtown, Scotland (part of the Dumfries and Galloway region) to start a new life in America. They bought a farm in Scotchtown, NY where they settled down in 1785. This farm remained in the McWilliams family until just a few decades ago. Their resting place is right up from their farm and across from the church where Grandpa McWilliams and Sarah Alice Beattie were married.

- 2nd Generation: John McWilliams, Jr and Nancy Stitt
