Our Helekunihi Cultural Foundation 501-C-3 non profit was founded in 2007.  Our mission is to engage in reforestation of native Hawaiian plants and preserve and protect archaeological sites on our 119 acres in Kahikinui. The recent February fire destroyed our 1,200 plants all in the ground.  We have begun planting in the ground new seedlings.

our structure was saved due to the weedwacking the grass on a regular basis. Keeping it short.  That is called Defensible firewise space.
