The raging Thomas Fire has destroyed the home of our Head of School, Melanie Jacobs, and her husband Rob.
My name is Bridget Cathie, I live in Goleta, CA where I have known Melanie for more than 20 years, as colleagues at Montessori Center School. I am setting up this GoFundMe account because we can't imagine the pain of losing a lifetime’s worth of treasures and comforts, and I want to help. But as the denizens of Melanie’s home-away-from-home, we MCS families can help with our compassion and contributions toward their long and difficult road ahead.
