Hi everyone, my name is Kate and I am one of the chief residents at the Norman Regional Emergency Medicine Program. I am asking for your support of my co-chief, Dr. Brittany McShane. Brittany is about 30 weeks pregnant and was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary HTN. She has been admitted to the ICU at a neighboring hospital where she will stay for the remainder of her pregnancy. The healthcare team is working hard to get Brittany and Baby McShane to 32 weeks before delivery.

We are asking for your help in raising funds for Brittany. We are expecting a long hospital course and likely NICU stay once Baby McShane arrives. All money raised will be given to the McShane family to use for their medical expenses. Any support you can give is very appreciated.

Finally, visitation has been severely limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program is working hard to keep Brittany’s spirits up through this extremely difficult time and we ask that you keep Brittany in your thoughts and prayers as well.
