Update: 3/25-Mom had her port installed last Friday to get ready for chemo! She is very sore in the area but maintains a positive attitude. Chemo will start tomorrow (3/26), they are giving her a very aggressive “cocktail” so we know the sick days are coming. We are prepared with lights snacks, vomit bags and again, a positive attitude. Let’s root for my mom this week and the hard part begins!
Update: on February 26th mom got the official diagnosis she has stage 3 esophageal cancer. She will begin chemo followed by radiation in March/early April for approximately 4-6 weeks with hopes of a surgery after if the tumor shrinks in size. Please pray for my mom as she begins the biggest fight of her life! #teamnancy
On December 18, my mother, Nancy Bagley was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. She went into the emergency room for something completely unrelated and was given this devastating news. At the time when we received the news, my mother did not have health insurance. By the grace of God, she has received a sponsorship that will cover her health insurance effective February 1.
As you can imagine, she will have a long road to go with treatments, etc., once her oncologist provides her with a plan. Please help my mom as she gets ready for the biggest fight of her life. Any amount will help as this will allow her time to focus on her treatment and not overdue bills or time missed from work!
