Hi everyone, little update on katie’s situation, I did a fundraiser last year to raise money for katie’s on going cancer treatment katie was diagnosed with sinus cancer January 2022 when her little girl was only 15 months old after finally being diagnosed she had to go undergoing life changing surgery to rebuild her nose and 6 weeks maximum dose head and neck radiotherapy but unfortunately the cancer came back September 2022 after 2 more surgeries we couldn’t get on top of and eventually in December 2022 it was back with a vengeance and spread to lungs taking Katie from stage 2 with 85% survival rate to stage 4 terminal with 3-6 months to live the hospital decided they only way to get on top of it was to fully cut her nose off.

Since then katie found out that her cancer is so aggressive it’s totally treatment resistant to all treatments here in the Uk but thankfully through a private clinic she goes to in Manchester she found a treatment in Germany that was working and even managed to get no evidence of cancer in September this year unfortunately the cancer has come back bigger and harder than ever and katie is currently waiting for a date for surgery her 10th surgery in 2 years, then will fly straight over Frankfurt for more tase treatment, these treatments cost £4K a time and katie goes every month January will be her 9th time in ten months on top of that the clinic in Manchester costs a £1k, at the minute these treatment are the only thing keeping her alive Keeping her here to be a mummy to her little girl who is now 31/2.

My surgery on Friday wasn’t as successful as we would of liked most of the tumour is now classed as inoperable i had a funny turn when I was being brought around and stopped breathing this morning I had pleasure of a phone call from my oncologist to tell me I can’t keep having surgery because I have had so many and also my body is getting too weak she also has discharged me and signed me over to palliative care team because they said all they can do is try and make me comfortable! So right now we are flying solo looking in to alternate treatments all over the world ✨ thank you all for your continued love and support ✨
