Michael & Ashleigh Flood Relief

Hi.  My name is Crystal Willis and I am the cousin of Michael and Ashleigh Criss.

Did you hear that thousands of people lost their home and some people lost their life as a result of the  devastating flood that occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisianna?  The Criss family is one of thousands of families that were impacted.  I am thankful that my cousin is still alive and that God is giving their family the strength to get through this phase of their life.  

Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated and very much needed.  In addition to your prayers, financial support is also needed in order to help the Criss family get back on their feet.  Michael and his family are currently staying at a hotel because they lost their home, their car, and all their personal belongings from the flood.  They have two children (ages 7 and 11) who lost their toys, their books, their posters, all those things that are are important in the eyes of precious children.  They need to rebuild their lives and they need your help.

I am asking my family & friends to help our cousin, brother, nephew, grandson, friend and his family get back on their feet.  The money that you provide will be used to provide necessities (food, clothing, and shelter).  While the government will provide some assistance, .they have thousands of people to support and also have paperwork and priorities to work through; it will not be enough to cover all the expenses incurred from starting over from scratch.  Your assistance is needed right away!  

I am asking my family & friends to support someone who is worthy of being helped.  Michael always gives of himself to help other people and encourages them to be better people.  My grandparents raised us to be givers and to show love. We were always taught that love isn't love until you give it away.  Now is the time for us to give away some love to a family member or close friend that we personally know is in desperate need of our assistance.  

Our family has always shown love for each other and always been there to support one another.  Lets show Michael and Ashleigh that they not only have our prayers but they also have our finances to help them rebuild.  When you put on your pjs tonight and go into your bedroom and get under the covers in the house that you worked so hard to buy, please remember that the Criss family would love to do the same thing.  Due to flooding, they cannot do it tonight, but better days are ahead.  Let's work together and do our part to help them experience that same cozy feeling of home sweet home, a place filled with love and security.
