Last week, I was offered a ticket for the Manchester Marathon. I gathered it would be rude to not even give it a go, so here we are. Just over 2 weeks training, I'll do my best to get over the line!
So if it's happening, I've also decided to raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Any donation will help make an impact to train up the next generation of Guide Dogs and provide their equipment.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association can be found here: https://www.guidedogs.org.uk/
Guide Dogs exist to provide life-changing services to the 360,000 people who are registered blind or partially sighted, and the two million people in the UK living with sight loss. They are best known for our world-famous guide dogs, but their work now encompasses so much more. In recent years, they have expanded their services beyond dogs to help thousands of people with different needs lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives.
