MCOFU - Labor Attorney Fees
As all of you have undoubtedly seen, MCOFU has placed an MOA into action that will severely impact the lives of officers, our families, and our schedules for the remainder of our careers. They did this change of bid status with no vote from the body. Instead, we were blindsided. We are in desperate need of donations to fund a separate labor work attorney. Please, if this impacts you, your friends, your family, I urge you to donate. We need to move this along as quickly as possible. These funds will be used to try and file an injunction, and follow the legal advice of a labor work attorney on how to proceed with charges, as well as trying to ensure the best way to remove the current E Board should the petitions fail.
We hope for a future where the E Board will have our best interests at heart, but that future needs to be worked and toiled for. And now is the time we need to act. Please share with everyone you can, and let's make this union strong again!
I am Amanda Adams. I work at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in the Bridgewater Complex. Please call with any questions. You've seen how our President has acted. You've heard the words he's called our brother and sister officers. You've been there for the name calling, and completely irrational and belligerent behavior. We need to work tougher to secure what's ours, and to fight for the rights of each member. New, rookie, vested, and heading towards retirement. We all should get a vote in something that will majorly impact every single one of us. We need to show them we WILL NOT lay down. Let's show em what we got!
